Description

Trapnell Pale is pale amber in colour with a very pronounced dry hop aroma.

It has a light malty palate with lots of hop flavour and a well balanced persistent finish and long hoppy aftertaste.

Brewing notes: Brewed with Chevallier Barley and dry hopped with Citra.

Who is...

Miss Trapnell

Her portrait still hangs amongst various Chevallier’s and Cobbold’s in the dining room at Aspall Hall. Married into the family, she brought with her great wealth; so much so, that for three subsequent generations, the eldest male heir had Trapnell as a middle name. We thought it high time Miss Trapnell got a bit of air time, so we decided to name this rich and alluring Pale Ale after her. Her badge reflects the great wealth she brought with her, and the not inconsiderable contribution she made to the Chevalliers at Aspall Hall.
